This term, Year 9 pupils will study Animal Farm in English as part of their English lessons. This text helps pupils explore important ideas such as power, control and fairness, while also building the skills they will need for GCSE English Literature.
Families are encouraged to purchase the CGP Animal Farm support book, which includes annotations, vocabulary support and revision guidance to help pupils build confidence and support learning at home.
Pupil Premium pupils will receive a copy from the school.
Classroom copies will also be available for pupils to use during lessons. However, these cannot be written in or taken home, which may limit how much pupils can practise and revise.
