To celebrate Pride Month and support the LGBTQ+ community, Swanpride have organised a non-uniform day on Wednesday, 17 June.
For a £1 donation, pupils are invited to wear their own clothes, and are encouraged to don something colourful, rainbow-themed or Pride-inspired. All money raised will be donated to Breakout Youth, a local charity that provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ young people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Thank you for supporting this important cause and helping us celebrate Pride Month at Swanmore College.
Get ready for an evening of fantastic live music at our Summer Concert on Monday, 22 June at 6:30pm in the Main Hall.
Featuring performances from our choirs, concert band, chamber orchestra and rock bands, alongside a range of outstanding soloists, this promises to be a celebration of the incredible musical talent across Swanmore College.
General tickets will be on sale from Monday, 15 June.
At Swanmore College, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils is our highest priority.

Young women entering Year 11 in September 2026 can now apply for the Headway Programme with BAE Systems. This initiative supports young women looking to explore apprenticeships and careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths).
Programme Benefits:
Programme Dates & Commitment: The programme runs across six sessions from September to November 2026. Because places are limited, pupils must commit to attending all of the following sessions:
Security Requirement: Access to Portsmouth Naval Base is subject to Ministry of Defence (MOD) security checks. Attending pupils will need to provide a valid photo ID (such as a passport).
How to Apply: The online registration deadline is 9:00 am on Monday, 06 July 2026.

Families, pupils and anyone curious about the wonders of the ocean are invited to visit the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton for its free Open Day on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
Visitors will have the chance to explore interactive exhibits, take part in hands-on activities, watch live presentations and meet the scientists and engineers working at the forefront of ocean research. The event is also celebrates 30 years of marine science in Southampton.
The Open Day is suitable for all ages and offers a fascinating insight into marine life, climate science, technology and the hidden world beneath our oceans. Free tickets are required and must be booked in advance.

After the success of last year's inaugural St Swithun's Girls' Open, St Swithun's are delighted to invite school-aged girls (aged 11-18) with a golf handicap of 36 or below to take part in their 2026 event:
What: An 18-hole Stableford competition
Where: Hockley Golf Club on the outskirts of Winchester
When: Saturday, 19 September 2026
Join for an exciting afternoon of competitive but friendly golf, with tee times from 1pm onwards.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for schools to be represented, meet fellow girl golfers, and enjoy the beautiful course in a fun and sociable setting.
The entry fee for the event is £37 per player which includes prizes, range tokens, goodie bag and burger & chips after play.
