End of term arrangements
We would like to remind you that Swanmore College will be closing early on Wednesday, 22 July 2026.
All pupils will leave at 12.40pm. School transport operators have been informed and will be on site to collect pupils at this time. Please note that anyone who uses the public Stagecoach 649 service will need to make alternative arrangements as they are unable to change the times of this service.

July Jamboree - Colour Run permission
As part of next week's July Jamboree, pupils will have the opportunity to take part in our exciting Colour Runs! 🌈
If you would like your child to participate, please remember to give your permission via Class Charts if you have not already done so. Without parental consent, pupils will not be able to take part.
The days/times of the Colour Runs are as follow:

Late bus and after-school clubs

Please note the following changes to the late bus service and after-College clubs:
- Tuesday, 21 July 2026: There will be no late bus service or after- school clubs.
- Wednesday, 02 September to Friday, 04 September 2026: There will be no late bus service or after-school clubs during the first week of the Autumn Term.
The late bus service and after-College clubs will resume from the week beginning Monday, 07 September 2026. The late bus will then operate on its usual schedule of Tuesday to Friday.
Year 7
There are no specific College items for Year 7 only.
Year 8
There are no specific College items for Year 8 only.
Year 9
There are no specific College items for Year 9 only.
Year 10
There are no specific College items for Year 10 only.
Year 11
SHCG: Summer Admissions and Enrolment Update
As the summer break begins, the South Hampshire College Group (SHCG) Admissions Team remains available to support pupils and parents with any application queries.
Important Updates for Applicants:

GCSE Results & Enrolment: If you hold an offer but are concerned about your GCSE results, please still attend your scheduled enrolment appointment. This is the best opportunity to discuss your options, courses, and starting in September. Enrolment details will be emailed to offer holders shortly.

Late Applications: Online applications remain open for most courses. Please note that any late interviews will not take place until September.

Summer Support: The Admissions Team is on hand throughout the summer holiday to answer any questions or guide you through the next steps.

Youth Impact Foundation Programme

Looking for something fun and rewarding for your child this summer? The Youth Impact Foundation Programme offers four days of sports, team challenges and practical life skills for Year 7 to Year 9 pupils.
Cost:
- £99 for all four days
- £50 for any two days
- FREE for pupils who receive Free School Meals (FSM) and are Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) eligible
Programme dates:
- 27–31 July (Winchester)
- 03–07 August (Fareham and Havant)
- 10–14 August (Andover and Farnborough)
- 17–21 August (Basingstoke and Eastleigh)
The programme runs at venues across Hampshire throughout the summer holidays.

Hampshire Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme
If your child is eligible for benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), they may be able to access free holiday clubs and activities through Hampshire's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme this summer. Activities include sports, arts, outdoor adventures, creative workshops and more, with a healthy meal provided as part of each funded session.

Dress to Go: Prom 2027 Dresses

If your child will be attending Prom 2027, Dress to Go in Botley has announced that its new prom collection will begin arriving in September and October 2026.
Appointments can be booked in advance, and families are encouraged to visit before February half-term to guarantee orders. The retailer also has a sale currently running, with selected dresses available from £150–£399.
