Help support our athletes 🏃♀️🏃♂️

As we look ahead to the Summer Term athletics season, we are hoping to purchase new Swanmore College athletics vests for pupils who represent the College at competitions. We are inviting parents, carers, and local businesses to get involved by sponsoring the vests. Sponsorship would help us ensure our athletes feel confident, supported, and proud to represent Swanmore, while also offering sponsors the opportunity to have their logo featured on the vests.
If you, or a business you are connected with, would be interested in supporting this, we would love to hear from you. Further information is outlined below, but please email pe-help@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk to discuss the full details.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our school community.
How many vests are needed?
Around 50. Ideally, we are looking for a single sponsor to cover all vests, but we will consider a shared sponsorship if multiple businesses are interested.
Can you help promote my business elsewhere?
Yes, we have a dedicated following for Swanmore Sports on social media, and we would be happy to promote sponsors here.
Why choose to sponsor Swanmore College?
We have a strong team of athletes at Swanmore. Our pupils regularly compete at local and district cross-country events and a few pupils run for the district athletics team as well. Each year in the Summer Term, we participate in a District Schools Athletics Championships Event that includes schools from across the county and each year we are improving our overall placement at this annual event. We also participate in local district Athletics Track and Field knock out events as well.
Are there sponsorship opportunities available for other sports?
We are always open to sponsorship for any of our sports. Please feel free to get in touch via pe-help@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk if you are interested in discussing other options.
Hampshire Team Golf Championships 2026
We would like to inform parents and carers of an exciting opportunity taking place in March. Attached is information about the Hampshire Schools Team Golf Championships 2026, an event Swanmore College won last year, progressing to the national competition.
This opportunity is open to pupils who are members of a golf club and hold a handicap and CDH number. The competition is open to Year 7 to Year 10 pupils.
If this is an event your child would be interested in taking part in, please complete the attached form (click here) and email it to mrbampton@swanmore-school.co.uk. Please note there is a £20 fee per golfer. Parents and carers are responsible for their child on the day, as this is not a school-run competition and staff will not be in attendance.
The deadline for responses is Friday 6 February 2026.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Mr Bampton.

Swan Life Press video report
Last Friday, The Rights Respecting Group and Politics Club welcomed Paul Holmes MP to Swanmore College for an honest, wide-ranging discussion on Children’s Rights and what life as an MP is really like. We're delighted to share this fantastic video from Swan Life Press showcasing our pupils' immediate reflections following the visit. A huge well done to Dylan T (Y10) for his hard work filming, editing and producing this video.
