All pupils will leave at 12.40 pm. School transport operators have been informed and will be on site to collect pupils at this time. Please note that anyone who uses the public Stagecoach 649 service will need to make alternative arrangements as they are unable to change the times of this service.

Free to a Good Home: A Piece of Swanmore’s Musical History

After many years of service to our pupils and the College, our grand piano is ready for its next chapter. We are looking for a new home where this instrument can continue to be played and appreciated.

The Details

It is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Dimensions: 264 cm (Length) x 102 cm (Height)

  • Width: 142 cm (at the keys) tapering to 76 cm (at the tail)

  • Weight: Due to its size, a Concert Grand typically weighs between 400kg and 500kg.

Logistics and Collection

Because of the piano's significant size and weight, the successful recipient must arrange and fund transport.

To express interest or arrange a time to view or collect the instrument next term, please email: enquiries@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk - collection will not be possible without prior arrangement.
