Crime and punishment

Overview:

This unit focuses on a thematic study of criminal and punitive principles that are argued to improve society by some or act towards it’s detriment by others. Key areas such as capital punishment, corporal punishment and incarceration will be dissected by pupils to justify views on how society gains retribution or rehabilitates those who have done wrong.
