Year 8 (4): How and why did ordinary people become involved in the Holocaust?

Overview

A UCL accreditted scheme of work, studying the Holocaust through the first hand testimonies. Students will learn about the experiences of the Jewish and Traveller communities, and the aftermath of the Holocaust.

People, organisations and governments who help the Nazis.

Persecution

Being treated badly, usually because of 'race' or religious or political beliefs.

Porajmos

Term given to the Roma Holocaust.

Traveller

A member of a community traditionally having an itinerant way of life.
