Swan Bites is our weekly College bulletin for parents/carers – it is published every Thursday.
We welcome any feedback or comments via: enquiries@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk
Thank you to those pupils who have already made their selection. This is a reminder of the deadline for those pupils who still need to make their selection.
📅 Deadline for selections: 09:00 Tuesday, 17 March 2026
Please make sure your child(ren) has looked at the activities available for the Summer Term and made their selections for their Enrichment Activity. The link showing the 53 different activities available for next term can be found here: Swanmore School | Enrichment. Your child(ren) needs to choose 5.

When you have your child(ren)'s choices, please submit them using 'School Buddy'. Choices must be submitted by Tuesday, 17 March 2026. Once you have submitted their choices, you will receive a selection confirmation email once final allocations have been made.
We have so far been successful in allocating every pupil one of their five choices in all our previous Enrichment cycles. This continues to be our aim moving forward, so please make sure you have chosen five activities that your child is happy to take part in.
Should you have any concerns or problems with signing-in or making your five selections, please do not hesitate to contact us via enrichment-help@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk and we will do what we can to help.

Following last week’s World Book Day celebrations, many of our pupils are continuing their reading challenge as part of this year’s Readathon, raising money for charity by reading and collecting sponsorship.
Over £150 has been raised so far, which is a great start. However, we still have some way to go if we are to beat last year’s fantastic total of £1,000. Last year we saw many generous last-minute donations, so we are hopeful that we can reach – or even exceed – that target again this year.
How to Donate
If you would like to support a pupil taking part, donations can be made online via:
Readathon | Sponsor A Child
The deadline for online donations is Monday 23 March.
There will also be prizes for the top fundraisers and the most enthusiastic readers, so we encourage pupils to keep reading and collecting sponsorship. Please let your child know that they must hand in their cards to their English teacher or Mrs Bushnell. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Readathon so far.
