Postcard 4: The night before

Tomorrow is the big day.

By now, we hope our new Year 7 pupils are feeling excited about joining us at Swanmore College. This evening is a good opportunity to prepare by packing school bags, checking equipment and getting everything ready for the morning.

A good night’s sleep and a calm start to the day can make all the difference. Pupils should bring a refillable water bottle, as we have several refilling stations around the site, and arrive ready to make their way to the Main Hall for 8.25am, where the Year 7 tutor team will be there to welcome them.

Starting secondary school is a huge milestone, and we are incredibly excited to begin this journey with our new Year 7 pupils.
