College Notices

Free Late Bus

Swanmore College provides a free, late bus service which leaves at 4.40 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from our bus lane. This allows pupils to make use of the after-college sports facilities, participate in clubs and travel home safely by bus. With the safety of our pupils being of upmost importance, we thought it prudent to remind you of the route and stops covered by this service:

  • Bishops Waltham Square
  • Meonstoke, bus stop on A32
  • Droxford Square
  • Wickham Square
  • Knowle Village Roundabout
  • Solent Hotel, Whiteley
  • Sweethills Crescent, Whiteley
  • Doctors Surgery, Whiteley
  • Botley Square

It is important that pupils tell the driver where they need to get off, when they board the bus. The locations listed above are the only points at which the bus will stop, the drivers are not permitted to stop at any other bus stops or roads. We regret that due to financial and time constraints we are unable to increase the area covered by the free, late bus.

Photographs

The orders for Y7 & Y11 photographs will be sent directly to parents/carers, by the photographers, on Friday and you will be able to order your requirements online.

Y9 photographs will be available to order after the Half-Term break.

Absentee and some additional Y9 photographs will be taken on the morning of Tuesday, 21 October 2025.

Neurodiversity Ambassadors

We would very much like you to join us on a Monday lunchtime in O Block for our Neurodiversity Ambassadors club (NDA for short).

This is a group that will allow members to connect with fellow pupils (neurodiverse or not) and supportive allies. It aims to help members to develop and hone new skills in a supportive and friendly environment, and to build confidence and pride in pupils’ neurodiverse identities.

It would be lovely to see a group of like-minded pupils come together and join in with fun and activities.
We hope to see you there!! Mrs Howson-Baggott, Mrs Catlin-Holmes and Miss Worrall.
