Calm Swan Sessions – Discover your creativity and find your calm!

Calm Swan Sessions is a new Tuesday lunchtime club at 12:40 pm for Year 7 and 8 in RO2. Starting after October half-term on Tuesday, 04 November 2025. With an introductory session at 12:40 pm on Tuesday,
21 October 2025. Please see the poster attached to the bottom of the page for further details.

Come and join our therapeutic art sessions and express yourself, manage stress or simply explore your creative side!  It's not an art lesson, and you don't need any artistic experience.

Message from the Art Department

After school KS3 Art Club is back on and continues this Thursday. We've joined in with the 'Out of the Box' project that is celebrating 180 Years of St Barnabas in Swanmore. Their challenge is to create 180 community decorated and/or written boxes reflecting Swanmore in 2025. Individuals will sponsor the
boxes with funds going towards the ongoing maintenance of the church. We hope to contribute 20 from the college alongside some donations. Eventually, they will be displayed all together as a 3d montage, so
all completed boxes will be exhibited.

So come and get stuck in! You don't need to sign up to join us. Art Club is held after school in R02 and runs from 3.10pm - 4.10pm. Pupils waiting to come in can congregate under the canopy between R and S block.  Please see the attached poster below.

GCSE PE & CNAT Video Evidence Parent/Carer Meeting

This evening will focus on how to film performances outside of school that will go towards assessment evidence for pupils.

Some pupils may perform highly in a sport that we cannot deliver at Swanmore College, and will want to showcase their ability to a higher level outside of school. If this is the case, then this will need to be recorded as video evidence.  Please see the poster attached at the bottom of the page.

  • When: Tuesday, 14 October at 17:00 – 18:00
  • Where: GCSE PE – Room SO1 | Cambridge Nationals – Room SO2
