Extracurricular Clubs

Please see attached details of the PE clubs that will be running during the summer term. We are in the process of finalising details of all the extracurricular clubs that will be on offer this term and will publish details on the website from Monday. Tutors should also have shared this information with pupils via the pupil bulletin.

PE Kit Reminder

As we head into the Summer Term, we would like to remind you of our PE kit expectations. Pupils should be in full PE kit for all PE lessons and sport/dance-based enrichment on a Wednesday. There are no hooded tops allowed, unless this is an old Swanmore one. Plain back tops or the new ¾ zip tops are permitted if needed over the Swanmore PE t-shirt.

From September 2025, we will have a 'no hoods' policy across the school. If you still have Swanmore hooded tops that fit and need to be worn, we have shared information on how these can be transformed into a sweatshirt by removing the hood. Please contact the PE department if you have any queries.

Year 7

There are no specific items for Year 7 only.

Year 8

There are no specific items for Year 8 only.

Year 9

A reminder that any pupils attending the DofE practice expedition this weekend should meet at Godshill Cricket Forestry Car Park on Saturday 26 April. Groups 1-3 should be dropped off at 0900hrs and groups 4-6 at 0930hrs. Your child should know their group but if not, they can find this on their DofE Resources folder on Google Drive.

Please ensure your child has the right equipment (both personal and group) and any medications they may need. Emergency contact numbers will be available when you drop your child off. Parents/Carers have been sent a letter with all the relevant information via email.

Leisure Facilities at Swanmore College

Swanmore Leisure benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including a large sports hall, a large floodlit 3G pitch, and tennis courts as well as other sporting and non-sporting facilities. The facilities allow us to provide pupils with a full range of sporting activities within extra-curricular activities and within the curriculum.

Additionally, the outstanding school facilities are used extensively by the school and local community.
