Despite a cancellation affecting one of our boys' fixtures, last week saw our pupils actively involved in tennis and the start of the athletics season.

Year 9/10 Girls' Tennis vs. Portsmouth High School

Our Year 9/10 girls' tennis team welcomed Portsmouth High School to Swanmore for an LTA Youth Schools fixture. The team participated in both singles and doubles matches. While the overall fixture resulted in a loss, the girls demonstrated some excellent tennis skills and provided their opponents with challenging games. Well played, girls!

Year 7/8 Girls Tennis at St Swithun's School

Our Year 7/8 girls' tennis team travelled to St Swithun's School in Winchester for an LTA Schools Tennis League fixture on Tuesday. Although the team didn't secure a win in this fixture, the girls played with great effort. Special mentions go to Marianna and Hatty, who both performed particularly well in their singles matches.
