Soccer Aid Week at Swanmore College

We’re thrilled to be running Soccer Aid Week – a full week of fun, football-themed fundraising to support Soccer Aid and UNICEF! Thank you to all our staff, pupils, and families who have already shown such brilliant support. Let's make a difference together!
What’s Happening?
- Tutor Time Donations (All Week): Pupils can bring in cash donations or sponsor a teacher during tutor time. Envelopes will be provided from the week of 16 June 2025, all week.
- Monday – Pupils vs Staff Penalty Shootout (MUGA): Take a penalty against your favourite (or not so favourite) teacher, for a small donation!
- Tuesday – Sponsored Football Shirt Day: Sponsor a teacher to wear a football kit – Mr Guillen will even wear a Saints kit if enough donations are raised… which is a big deal for a Pompey fan!
- Wednesday – Obstacle Race (Gym): A fun race with donations supporting the pupils' efforts. Get ready to run, jump, and laugh! Take part with a small donation.
- Thursday – Crossbar Challenge (MUGA): Pupils test their skills! How many can hit the crossbar? Take part, with a small donation
- All Week – EAFC Tournament (Room W11): One year group per day will compete in our exciting EAFC (FIFA) tournament, starting with Y10 on Monday, Y9 on Tuesday, Y8 on Wednesday and Y7 on Thursday.
- Staff Five-a-Side Football Match: Staff of all abilities are joining a charity match after school on Friday – for a small donation, come cheer them on and see who wins bragging rights! The match kicks off after school on Friday, 20 June 2025.
