Summer Concert

The Summer Concert is on Monday, 23 June 2025 at 6.30pm in the Main Hall.

There will be performances from the Chamber Choir, Main Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra and Concert Band as well as some Pop/Rock bands and solo singers and musicians.

Tickets are £5 each and are available on Scopay.

Meet the Governors

Would you be interested in coming to meet and get to know some of the Governors of Swanmore College and hear about the College’s future plans?

We will be hosting a “Meet the Governors” meeting at 6:30pm on Thursday, 10 July 2025. You will be able to attend a presentation on the role of the Governors and how they work with the College staff, parents/carers and pupils to set the vision and priorities. It will also be an opportunity for you to see what data the Governors review to help them monitor the performance of the College.

An important part of the meeting will be a session to get your feedback on areas that the College does well and what improvements and priorities you believe are important to consider.

Year 7 and 8 Reading tests

Please be aware that our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils will be undertaking reading tests starting next Monday, 23 June. These tests will take place during their timetabled Listory lessons.

To ensure a smooth testing experience, please remind your child to bring a set of wired headphones or earphones with them to their Listory lessons on their test day. These are essential for the audio components of the test.

Thank you for your support in ensuring your child is well-prepared for these assessments.

SHCG (Fareham, Southampton, Eastleigh Colleges, and CEMAST & CETC): Enrolment

All pupils who have been given a conditional offer have been invited to enrol between 26-29 August 2025. Further details will be provided by SHCG shortly.

Your Pre-Loved GCSE Revision Guides

As the GCSE exams have now concluded, many of you will be clearing out revision materials. If you have any GCSE revision guides that are still in good condition and no longer needed, please consider donating them to the school.

These guides are a fantastic resource and will be put to good use by other pupils, providing them with extra tools and support as they work towards their own qualifications. Your contribution will directly assist their learning and help them achieve their best.

Please drop off any donated revision guides at Main Reception.
