Board Games
An opportunity to learn and play a variety of board games, with the chance to design and make your own board game in the second half of term.

Warhammer Club
As well as learning to play the incredibly popular tabletop game Warhammer, you will design, build and paint your own miniatures and scenery - something that has become a popular art form in the gaming community.
We will explore how to create a visually impactful display, design a structure that will support itself, and learn miniature building techniques. The result will be a handmade miniature diorama that you have designed, painted and built yourself, which you can use in Warhammer or other tabletop games and to display your own miniatures!

Do you love reading? Fantasy? Thrillers? Dystopia? War fiction? Romance? If so, this is the group for you! Whether there is a particular genre you prefer, or you are keen to read something new, we know you will love the chance to relax, recline and read. In addition, there will be activities for you to enjoy such as meeting an author or publisher, creative book art, making film trailers, quizzes and sharing your enjoyment of books.

Game Making with Scratch and GarageBand/Logic Pro X

In this project, you’ll start by creating your own video game in Scratch. You’ll design characters, build levels, and code how your game works using easy, block‑based programming. Once your game is taking shape, you’ll switch to GarageBand/Logic Pro X to create the perfect soundtrack. You’ll learn how to make background music, sound effects, and theme tunes that match the action in your game.
By the end, you’ll have a fully playable Scratch game with music you made yourself—a fun mix of creativity, coding, and sound design!
No musical experience needed — just creativity and enthusiasm! Whether you’re a gamer or a musician, this is your chance to produce a computer game of your own with original music.

Marvel Club
A club that looks at the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a clear focus on representation across the superhero genre and how this is reflected in our world. There will be a range of creative tasks and discussions across the term that will explore/challenge stereotypes in the heroes and villains of the MCU, with the potential to create a short film combining your knowledge and skills. There will be opportunities to develop this knowledge through the various Marvel TV shows and films that make up the MCU. Swanmore, assemble!

Esports
In our Esports enrichment, pupils will dive into the dynamic world of competitive gaming. They will research professional Esports teams, exploring their strategies, branding, and success stories, before creating their own team.
Participants will hone their skills in popular games such as EA FC Club 25, Rocket League, and Fortnite, developing both gameplay techniques and coaching abilities. The enrichment aims to foster teamwork, strategic thinking, and leadership, while giving pupils a taste of the rapidly growing esports industry.

Comic Book Creation
Are you a comic book fan or just someone who has a story to tell? If so, this enrichment may be for you. During this enrichment, we will work on creating a short story, character concepts, composition and storyboarding, and finally creating a short comic book of your own. No art talent is required as all levels are welcome; all you need is the will to learn and to create.
This activity will:
Give you the opportunity to make new friends, improve your literacy/creativity and art skills, work towards a deadline and find out more about the processes involved in creating a comic book.

Swan Life Press: Creators, Media and Design
Do you enjoy being creative? Do you like telling stories, making videos, designing graphics or working behind the scenes to make things look great? The Swan Life Press team brings together content creation, journalism, media production and design to share what’s happening at Swanmore.
You’ll help tell the stories of College life by interviewing people, covering events and creating content that is seen by pupils, staff and the wider community. You’ll also learn how to present that content in eye-catching and professional ways.
What you’ll get to do:

You’ll work as part of a supportive team, combining creative ideas and design skills to produce exciting Swan Life content.
This team is perfect for you if you want to:
Build skills in journalism, photography, video making, presenting, writing, graphic design and digital media. You don’t need any experience – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. If you already have some skills, we’ll help you develop them even further.

Uno Championship
UNO Championship is a fun and inclusive way to support children’s wellbeing by promoting social connection, emotional regulation, and strategic thinking in a weekly tournament. Each session will begin with a short warm-up game to recap the rules, followed by friendly matches where pupils rotate tables to playing against different opponents. As the weeks progress, pupils track their scores on a leaderboard, culminating in an end of term championship final.
The enrichment encourages teamwork, fairness, and resilience, as children learn to manage both winning and losing gracefully. Alongside the gameplay, light discussions or reflection moments could help pupils recognise how play and positive competition contribute to happiness, stress relief, and confidence.

Do you love watching films? Are you interested in how films are made? Are you always getting on your friends' and family's nerves talking about what you've been watching? Then join the Cinemaniacs! This brilliant enrichment opportunity gives you the chance to watch incredible movies with like-minded people.
You'll get the chance to discuss the films you love, make recommendations for future screenings and even develop your own film making ideas! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to deepen your understanding and appreciation of the wonders of the big screen!

Careers Cave is a cinematic, interactive enrichment experience where pupils explore who they are becoming — and how to build confidence, skills and direction for the future.
Using powerful film moments, challenges, teamwork, games and big ideas, pupils step into a journey of discovery about themselves and the world beyond school.
This is not a traditional careers club.
It’s an experience.

Media Makers Club
Welcome to the Media Makers Club, an exciting opportunity for pupils to unleash their creativity and explore the dynamic world of media production.

Foreign Film and Animation
In this enrichment, we will be learning about art and culture through our analysis of foreign film and animation. We will be watching films exclusively in foreign languages and studying different types of animation techniques. Our goal is to learn more about other cultures as well as explore how to create simple hand-drawn animations. We will be creating a range of materials about the films, such as posters and reviews, as well as analysing them through class discussion.
