Sparx Science and Maths Drop-In Homework Club

Image shows a white square poster with the Sparx logo at the top and the words “HOMEWORK CLUB” underneath in black capital letters. At the bottom are two illustrations: a blue swan wearing a graduation cap sitting on maths symbols, and a Swanmore Science logo showing a swan in a graduation cap with science beakers.

Pupils are invited to join our Sparx Science and Maths Drop-In Homework Club in M11 at lunchtimes Monday to Thursday. This is a great opportunity to improve your Science and Maths skills, get support with homework, and build confidence in class.

Pupils can earn up to 5 ICCs for attendance and excellent effort. All are welcome!

We value pupils developing strong habits of independent work and revision and will be rewarding this by increasing the number of ICCs awarded for completion of weekly Sparx homework; 100%= 5 ICCs, 70 - 99% = 3 ICCs and 1 - 69% = 1 ICC. Pupils can then enjoy redeeming their ICCs in the reward shop.

SCOPAY ePayments: Planned Service Downtime

Please be aware that SCOPAY have scheduled a planned upgrade to their ePayments service. As a result, ePayments will be unavailable between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Monday, 16 February 2026.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and recommend making any urgent payments outside of this time where possible.

Uniform and Mobile Phones

We have noticed that some pupils are gradually beginning to push the boundaries of our uniform requirements and mobile phone rules. After half-term we will be having a focus on both items. We have made some minor adjustments following our annual Pupil Voice Survey, which was carried out at the end of the Autumn Term. Therefore, could we please ask you to remind your children of our expectations, including the following:

Uniform

  • Pupils may wear more than one pair of earrings; however, these must be stud earrings only.
  • One nose stud is permitted.
  • Hoop earrings are not permitted.
  • Black V-Neck jumpers only are allowed.
  • Pupils must always wear their blazers when moving around the site. No pupil should leave their lesson without wearing their blazer.
  • Trainers and leggings are not permitted as part of the college uniform.
  • All PE kit, which is not one of our branded items, must be plain black. No hoodies are permitted.
  • All items can be seen on our website - https://www.swanmore-school.co.uk/information/uniform

Mobile Phones

  • Mobile phones must be switched off and kept in bags throughout the college day.
  • If we see a phone at any time during the college day, it will be confiscated, taken to Pupil Reception, and logged on Class Charts.

Pupils may collect their mobile phone at the end of the day.
