A fantastic evening at Swanmore College!
We were delighted to welcome so many prospective pupils and their families to our Open Evening on Thursday, 24 September, giving visitors a taste of life at Swanmore College.
There was a fantastic atmosphere across the College, with plenty of opportunities for visitors to get involved and experience our subjects first-hand. From practical Science demonstrations and the challenge of drawing a perfect circle in Maths to taking a selfie with Shakespeare or solving a murder mystery in History, there was something to discover around every corner.The activities continued throughout the College, with visitors making frog keyrings in Design Technology, spotting hazards in Food Technology and enjoying performances from our Jazz Band. Dance and Drama auditions were also taking place, alongside a wide range of other activities and demonstrations showcasing life at Swanmore.
Families also heard from our Head of School, Amanda Griffiths, and had the opportunity to meet our teachers and pastoral staff, ask questions and learn more about our curriculum, enrichment opportunities and the support available to pupils.
