20 May 2026: Temporary Bus Changes for Wickham Horse Fair

Due to road closures and disruption linked to the Wickham Horse Fair on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, there will be temporary changes to some of the Swanmore College bus routes to help ensure pupils arrive at school on time for exams.

Route 51739 (Curdridge to Swanmore)

Service on route 51739 will make a temporary diversion to collect pupils from Shedfield, with the Shedfield pick-up taking place at 08:10. As a result, the following Curdridge pick-up times will be slightly earlier than normal:

Curdridge, Reading Room Lane – 07:50
Curdridge, Oakdown, Lockhams Road – 07:52
Curdridge, Lockhams Road/Gordon Road – 07:55

Routes 51805 (Knowle to Swanmore) and 30005 (Wickham to Swanmore)

Pupils who would normally board either of these buses at Wickham Square/along Fareham Road (A334) will be picked up from a temporary bus stop on the A3 (as seen in image below).

Pick-up times for the temporary bus stop on the A32 will remain unchanged:

Knowle (51805) – 08:00
Wickham (30005) – 08:10
