Vision Statement
We challenge all to be open-minded Linguists for Life.
Through a metacognitive approach to language learning rooted in our knowledge-rich curriculum, we captivate our pupils with a lifelong passion for languages, whichever path they choose to follow. Our curriculum equips pupils with a foundation for linguistic study at all stages of life, and reinforces the qualities of open-mindedness, international ambition, and global citizenship.

Resources to help you support your child with their studies:
- Knowledge Organiser – all pupils receive one of these at the start of the year (KS3) or GCSE course (KS4).
The Knowledge Organiser has many useful parts, including: Target Language Toolkit, Universals, Markschemes, Sentence Builder/Parallel Text page for each topic covered.
This should be brought to each lesson and used regularly at home to support independent learning. They should also form the basis of pupils’ revision for exams.
- All KS4 pupils receive a GCSE Revision Workbook (Edexcel) free of charge to support their independent learning at home.
