Enrichment Reminder

Dear Parent/Carer

We are continuing to use the 'School Buddy' system for selecting choices for next year's Autumn Term Enrichment programme. The system allows either yourself or your child to choose 5 activities per term that your child would be happy to take part in. We will then assign every pupil one of these five choices. If you have not already done so, you will receive an email from noreply@schoolsbuddy.com asking you to create your account. If you have previously set up an account, please simply log on using your existing Username and Password.

 Once you have access, you and your child(ren) can make your selections. The deadline for selecting next terms activities is 12:00 on Monday 7 July 2025. Once you have submitted your choices, your child will be allocated a place, and you will receive a selection confirmation email. Please note, if you are unable to sign up and make your choices by the above deadline, we may allocate your child a place on an activity we think will be suitable.

Meet the Governors

A reminder to you all to confirm your interest in coming to meet and get to know some of the Governors of Swanmore College and hear about the College’s future plans?

We will be hosting a “Meet the Governors” meeting at 6:30 pm on Thursday, 10 July 2025, where you will be able to attend a presentation on the role of the Governors and how they work with the College staff, parents/carers, and pupils to set the vision and priorities. It will also be an opportunity for you to see what data the Governors review to help them monitor the performance of the College.

An important part of the meeting will be a session to get your feedback on areas that the College does well and what improvements and priorities you believe are important to consider.

Don't Miss Disney's Aladdin Jnr. – Tickets Available Now!

A quick reminder that tickets are now available for the College's spectacular production of Disney's Aladdin Jnr.! Our pupils and staff have been working incredibly hard, and we can't wait for you to see their amazing talents.

Performances are at 7 pm on:

Workshop Taster Day – October 2025 – Registration Open

I would like to promote our next Workshop Taster Day which is taking place on 18 October 2025, for those in Year 10 upwards.  It’s an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in engineering to have a go at engineering activities in a workshop environment – all helping students make informed decisions about their future choices post 16!  Registration is required online via SETA’s website.  It is already a third full, so make sure your pupils don’t miss out!
