Swanmore Artists Earn Recognition in Barton Peveril Art Competition

Image shows two colourful competition artworks: a detailed portrait surrounded by personal interests and a brightly painted house decorated with flags

A fantastic result for Swanmore College as two pupils win recognition in this county-wide competition.

Congratulations to Year 8 pupil Evie G and Year 7 pupil Ena B, who were both awarded Runner-Up in the Year 7–8 category of the annual Barton Peveril Art Competition.

The competition attracted entries from pupils across Hampshire, with many talented young artists submitting their work. We are incredibly proud to see Evie and Ena recognised for their creativity and artistic skill among such a strong field of entries.

The annual competition provides a fantastic opportunity for young artists to showcase their work and celebrate their achievements alongside pupils from other schools across the county.

Well done to Evie and Ena on this wonderful achievement, and thank you to all of the Swanmore pupils who took part in the competition.
