We begin with a special mention for Year 10 pupil, Mia, who is celebrating well-deserved success with her football team, Southampton FC. Congratulations, Mia, on your fantastic achievement!

Last week, our Year 7 and 8 pupils enjoyed their first athletics meet of the season at St Swithun's School, where they participated in field events. The athletic opportunities continue this week, with Year 7-10 pupils having the chance to compete in track events.

Tennis

Our Year 9/10 Boys' Tennis team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination in their LTA Schools Tennis League fixture against Oaklands Catholic School last Wednesday. The boys dominated the competition, winning all of their matches. Well done! 👍🏻🎾

On Friday afternoon, our Year 7/8 Boys and Girls Tennis teams competed against Westgate School in an LTA Youth Schools League Tennis fixture at the Winchester Racquets & Fitness Club. Both our teams competed well at this fantastic venue and provided a competitive challenge to their opponents. Although our teams were defeated overall, they can be proud of their performance. We look forward to seeing them in action in the coming weeks. 👍🏻🎾

Wednesday afternoon saw our U14 Boys' Basketball team play in the U14 Southampton District Final against Toynbee School at Solent University. In a very close game, with Swanmore leading 31-28 at halftime, the boys demonstrated great resilience and skill. Unfortunately, Toynbee School won with a final score of 68-54.
