Young Chefs Graduate from Eastleigh College Junior Chef Course

Six pupils in white chef uniforms and hats stand together holding certificates after graduating from the Eastleigh College Junior Chef course.

We are incredibly proud of the six pupils who recently graduated from the Eastleigh College Junior Chef course!

Over the last six weeks, they have risen to the challenge, learning professional hospitality skills ranging from delicate pastry creation to the craft of butchery. The course culminated earlier this month with our pupils working in the Eastleigh College main kitchen to prepare a sumptuous three-course meal for their families and Swanmore College representatives.  It was wonderful to see our pupils collaborating and thriving in a professional environment. A huge thank you to our former pupil, Amy Miles, who looked after the team and is such a fantastic advocate for careers in catering. This is a brilliant example of our community striving for excellence. Well done to everyone involved!
