Learning Mentor

34.5 hours per week – term time only (39 Weeks). 

(8.15am – 3.15pm 3 days a week, 8.15am – 4.15pm 2 days a week)

Salary: - HCC Grade C FTE £25,186 - £26,244, Actual £20,087.28 - £20,931.24

This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative and dynamic Learning Support department to start as soon as possible (by 22 July 2026) or from 1 September 2026. This role will suit anybody who wants to develop their career within SEND to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities/learning difficulties. There will be an enhanced requirement to work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, and to provide advisory support to teaching staff to support pupils’ learning.

Whilst previous SEND experience is not a requirement it would be preferable.

A comprehensive induction programme is in place and training is always on-going.
