Teaching Assistant (working 1-1 with a pupil with EHCP/SEN)

32.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3:15pm. 

Term Time only (39 weeks)

Fixed term until 31 August 2025

HCC Grade B FTE £22,737 - £23,058 (+ Pay Award)

Actual £16,821.36 - £17,058.84 (+ Pay Award)

Required as soon as possible to work as a member of this dynamic Learning Support Team providing 1:1 support for pupils in and out of the classroom with a variety of Special Educational Needs.  This position is fixed term until 31 August 2025.

Adaptability is essential as is the ability to relate well to both pupils and teachers. Knowledge and experience of raising literacy levels and developing resources would be an advantage; however, enthusiasm and energy are the priority to join this forward looking team, along with having an SEN specialism.

Any previous experience in working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, Pathological Demand Avoidance, or Selective Mutism would be an advantage.

A desire to make a difference will be equally valued along with life experience and a good sense of humour.
