34.5 hours per week – term time only (39 Weeks). 

(8.15am – 3.15pm 3 days a week, 8.15am – 4.15pm 2 days a week)

Salary: - HCC Grade C FTE £24,405 - £25,430, Actual £19,464.48 - £20,281.92

This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative and dynamic Learning Support department to start in September 2025. This role will suit anybody who wants to develop their career within SEND to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities/learning difficulties. There will be an enhanced requirement to work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, and to provide advisory support to teaching staff to support pupils’ learning.

Whilst previous SEND experience is not a requirement it would be preferable.

A comprehensive induction programme is in place and training is always on-going.
