Urgent reminder: we are a nut-free school

This is an important reminder that Swanmore is a nut-free school. In practice, this means that nuts, or any products containing nuts, should not be brought onto the site or consumed in any way. Unfortunately, there have been some reports of pupils not following these vital instructions. We all need to be mindful of those who have severe allergies and reactions to nuts or nut products, as the potential consequences of exposure could be extremely serious.

French GCSE Enrichment 2025-2027 (for pupils currently studying Spanish)

Following up on a recent email to Y8 and Y9 parents and carers, don't miss the chance for your child to become a dual linguist! We're offering an exciting French GCSE Enrichment opportunity for Year 8 and 9 pupils currently studying Spanish. They'll start learning French from scratch, working towards an extra GCSE over two years during Wednesday afternoon sessions. This is perfect for pupils who enjoy languages and are keen to earn an additional qualification that could open future doors. Swanmore College presents: Aladdin

Tickets are now available on Scopay for our summer production – Aladdin!

Performances are taking place on 08, 09 and 10 July 2025, in the Main Hall, at 7 pm.

Year 10 Mock Exams

Year 10 pupils will be taking their next set of mock examinations from Monday, 16 June to Friday, 27 June 2025. All pupils have been issued with an examination timetable; a copy of the timetable is also on the link below. Pupils taking Art and Photography will be advised separately about their mock exam, which will take place during the week beginning 07 July 2025.

Helpful tips for purchasing uniform during the summer holidays:

• The first few weeks of the summer holidays are generally quieter in our shops and online.
• If you are visiting our shops during the last two weeks of the summer holidays please expect to queue outside of the shop and allow more time for your visit.
• Our shops will still need to close at the advertised closing times and we may have to cut the queue short to ensure we can serve the customers we already have in the shop. This also gives us the opportunity to replenish stock and prepare the shop for the following day.

CAMHS PACE Event – 26 June 2025

Hampshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are holding a Parent and Carer Event (PACE) on Thursday, 26 June 2025, at Winton Community Academy, London Road, Andover  SP10 2PS.

This is a free mental health and wellbeing event for all parents and carers who support or work with young people. There will be a number of introductory sessions on young people’s emotional health and wellbeing and information stands from local organisations. Kids Treat – Bishops Waltham

Kids Treat is a free event for children and their families with over 30 activities! These include sports, Middle Eastern dancing, splat the rat, DJ skills workshop, circus skills, singing and performing, soft play and creative crafts.

This event takes place on Sunday, 06 July, between 12 and 4:30 pm, on the High Street, Bishops Waltham.
