On Tuesday, 27 January 2026, Swanmore College marked Holocaust Memorial Day by remembering the victims of the Holocaust and reflecting on the importance of dignity, respect, and shared humanity.
Last term, Year 8 pupils visited the battlefields of Belgium, bringing their history studies to life through first-hand exploration, reflection and shared experience.
We have been busy commemorating 80 years since VE Day this week.
Over the weekend of 15 and 16 March 2025, 59 Year 8 pupils travelled to Belgium for this year's Battlefields Trip. They represented themselves well, and were a real credit to the College.
We would like to remind you that there is a parent information meeting for the Battlefields Trip taking place on Thursday, 09 January 2025, at 1800 in the main hall of Swanmore College.
