Vote for Amber Hennessy in the Hampshire UK Youth Parliament elections!

Hampshire County Council will be holding elections for its next cohort of UK Youth Parliament members (MYPs).

The elections will be by online ballot between the 5th – 20th July 2017. The results will be declared on the 21st July 2017. Our pupils will have the opportunity to vote in their IT lessons.

Eight seats are available in Hampshire across four regions in Hampshire. The candidate with the highest number of votes in their geographical area will become the Member of Youth Parliament (MYP) and those that had the second highest amount of votes in their geographical area will become the Deputy Member of Youth Parliament (DMYP).

MYPs have the opportunity to debate in the House of Commons, meet County Councillors and Officers and represent their peers at various local, county and national events.
