What do we do?
Our sole aim is to raise money to support the college and pupils. We spend all the money we raise for the benefit of the pupils’ education and to provide those extras that are not always possible from the college budget.
Who can be involved?
Everyone! Members of the Association are ALL parents, all teachers, all governors as well as past parents. Other friends of Swanmore College may also be members.
You don’t need to be on the committee to help
Our committee is a group of volunteers who offer whatever level of support they can to organise fundraising events and decide on how the funds are distributed for the benefit of the students.
Give as You Live is a cash back scheme which we would really like you to consider joining to help raise money for College funds. Every time you buy online via the Give as You Live website you donate money to our college. There are over 4000 retailers to choose from.

We always welcome fund-raising ideas to meet the many bids we have from college departments, so if you have any suggestions – please email them to us [email protected] and we will put them before the committee for consideration.
You can be involved in whatever way you wish: become a member of the committee, add your name to our list of helpers, support the events that we hold, donate raffle prizes or services you may think we can use. We are grateful for any time you can spare.

How we contact you
Our main method of communication out to parents is via our Parent Communications System – so keep an eye out for information on how you can help raise funds for the pupils and for our forthcoming events . We will also post latest events and information here as well as on our Facebook page.
The Swanmore parent association is a registered charity. It was re-established in 2009.
We have our AGM typically in October each year. This is a great chance for you to find out more about what we do, meet (in fact vote for) the committee and offer some input. We would REALLY like you to mark this in your diaries now and come along. Look out for the date on the College Calendar.
