How does our agility, balance, dodging and side-stepping help to improve our performance?
Overview
In this unit we will look at how important agility, balance, dodging and side stepping is in a variety of sports. We will focus on how these concepts are important in being able to succeed as an individual or team

Agility
Ability to move and change direction quickly, at speed, while maintaining control .
Balance
Maintaining the centre of the mass over the base of support. Static or dynamic.
Dodging
The ability to avoid someone or something by sudden movements.
Alignment
The ability to position yourself in a straight line or in correct relative positions.
Posture
The position in which someone holds their body when standing or sitting.
Body Tension
The condition in which muscles of the body remain semi-contracted for an extended period of time.
