A message from Miss Alison Sainsbury, Assistant Headteacher and Head of Hawking House
2009 - 2010
Since returning from the summer holidays, voting within the House for all important roles was undertaken very quickly. There were a number of applicants for the majority of the positions and each pupil should be congratulated for putting together information on themselves and confidently delivering a speech during the first assembly.
Everyone in Hawking House had the opportunity to vote for the Official positions.
Other positions are being filled within the House including those of the Charity Reps. There will be lots of emphasis on these personnel during the coming months as Hawking are beginning to plan some charity events for the near future. In this term alone, there will be the “Samaritan’s Purse Shoe-box” appeal, the “Tins and Clothing” collection for the Saints Charity and also the “Wear it Pink” day for Breast Cancer.
Keep an eye on this page for updated information on all of the above.
