Two
months have passed since my introductory assembly for your child's work
experience and whilst some of you have been active in securing
placements many pupils appear to have made little progress in
approaching employers.
Could
I please ask that you take time over the Christmas break to discuss
placements and in the new year contact employers to hopefully secure a
position. The official deadline is not until March but I am very aware
that employers are busy and can take time to decide whether to
take pupils and approaching them sooner rather than later is essential.
If you
prefer to use the online system, details of how to access this are
given in the booklet that was distributed to pupils after the Work
Experience evening.
