am writing to make you aware that your child’s Year 10 Progress Report
is now available on Eportal.
Within your
child’s progress report you will find the targets for the end of Year
10 and end of Key Stage 4. As yet we have not given current grades
however these will follow in February. We have also given overall
grades for Attitude to Learning which refers to pupil focus and
commitment to learning as defined below:
Excellent Exceptionally focussed,
independent and conscientious
Good Usually focussed
and conscientious
Satisfactory Only just adequate focus and
commitment to work
Unsatisfactory Lacks focus and commitment to work
X Pupil
absent too often for reasonable assessment to be made
If there is an
Independent Learning concern (Aut
Ind) with homework or
coursework or a Personal Organisation concern (Aut PO) this will be
stated. The pupils have been advised of their targets and are receiving
guidance on how to reach these.
The Year 10
Parents’ Evening on Thursday 8 March 2012 will give you the opportunity
to discuss your child’s progress with teachers. However if you wish to
discuss their current progress at any time do not hesitate to contact
us.
