The big day is
now upon us and there are a few last minute details to inform you
of.
We will be leaving the college site
at 8.45 am on Monday 27 February 2012.
The pupils will be travelling to Southampton Guildhall by Brijan
Tours Coach Company. The pupils will be at the venue all day until the
performance at 7 pm and will need plenty of food and drink. I would be
grateful if you could advise your child to wear the Rock Challenge
t-shirt in the morning for recognition and team identity.
The show starts at 7 pm and is due
to finish at 10.30 pm. If you
are not watching the performance can you please ensure you arrive
promptly at the venue to collect your child. They have advised us to use the
public parking around the venue and city centre.
Check list for the day, pupils will
need:-
Ø Food and drink
Ø Costumes
Ø Hair grips and hair bands
Ø Make up if required
Ø Hair sprays
Ø Winning smiles
Pupils can bring cameras to take
pictures of the day, but Swanmore
College staff
cannot take responsibility for any personal belongings.
Tickets will be posted to the
College over the next week and will be handed out to the pupils on
arrival. Please make sure you
collect these from your child.
There
are two final rehearsals, Wednesday 8 February 2012 and Wednesday 22
February 2012 between 3 pm 5 pm.
It is really important that all pupils attend these rehearsals
including stage, lighting and video crews. We have not yet rehearsed the piece
with a full team. Please ask you
child to see me if they have a problem attending any rehearsals.
I would like to take this

and time you have all given to Rock Challenge.
