Southern Counties Youth Band - Family Day Sunday, 27 July 2025

Southern Counties Youth Band aims to give young brass banders aged 11-21 a unique opportunity to improve their playing ability whilst having fun making brass band music in a band of players their own age. New players are always welcome at SCYB! If you're interested in joining the band, or just coming along for a taster, please contact Alex Sears: scabasecretary@gmail.com. The Family Day is the perfect opportunity to meet players – additional details on the attached flyer below. We hope to see you there.

CAMHS drop-in service and advice sessions

CAMHS in Winchester have been, and still are, running advice sessions the first Wednesday of the month between 10 am and 2 pm in Winchester.  They are open to parents/carers/professionals and young people. You can turn up or book a space via the website event page, www.hampshirecamhs.nhs.uk

This is an opportunity to speak to a clinician who has experience and understands. We are keen for students to come along if they are worried about their own mental health.

Please see the attachment below for further information.

We also have a Mental Health Focus Week from 8-12 September 2025.  This is a week of bitesize training days for parent/carer or professionals covering topics such as eating disorders and difficulties, anxiety, trauma, understanding ADHD and embracing autism.
