Year 9 and 10 Boys Tennis Team in Semi-Final
Our Year 9/10 Boys Tennis Team travelled to Churcher’s College this afternoon for their LTA Youth Schools Tennis League Semi-Final fixture. It was a fantastic experience for the team, who played exceptionally well, matching their opponents and pushing them in every game. While the boys didn't progress to the Final this time, they can be incredibly proud of their efforts and what they have achieved this Summer. Well done, boys!
Success at HSAA Championships
A huge congratulations goes out to Zac (Year 11), Poppy (Year 10), and Imogen (Year 8) for their outstanding successes in the HSAA Championships, which took place on Saturday, 14 June 2025. This was a great win for Eastleigh & Winchester! Imogen placed 4th in her 800m heat and 7th in the final, Zac secured 1st place in both his 400m heat and the final, and Poppy triumphed with a 1st place overall in the High Jump. These pupils proudly represented Swanmore College in the Eastleigh and Winchester District team that came first in these Championships! Well done to all three of you – your hard work and dedication truly paid off.
U13 Boys Cricket vs. Mountbatten
On Tuesday this week, our U13 boys' Cricket team hosted Mountbatten in a league fixture. Despite performing well and demonstrating great effort, our team was beaten by a strong Mountbatten side. A special mention goes to Jack, who top-scored with the bat for the team. Keep up the great work, boys!
Year 9 Sports Leaders at Droxford Primary School
We were delighted to take some of our Year 9 pupils to Droxford Primary School on Tuesday to act as Sports Leaders. Our pupils did an amazing job assisting with their Sports Day, and we received fantastic feedback on their leadership and helpfulness. Well done to all who helped – you truly embodied our values of collaboration and support within the community.
