Swanmore Parents’ Association Quiz Night a Grand Success |

As we battled through the wind and the rain on Saturday 23rd March to get the College’s main hall ready for the Quiz Night, some of us on the committee wondered what kind of a turn out we would get. The weather was not kind to us on our first social event of the year.
We really need not have worried – 15 tables later and over 132 people seated in the hall the battle of the old grey matter commenced. By turns there were cheers, groans, hissed “I said that’s and furrowed brows as we all tried to do our teams justice in answering Bill Hargreave’s fiendishly hard questions. Jokers were played (sometimes on the right round – more often not!) and some light relief was promised in the music round (until we realised that our music knowledge was about as good as our geography!).
